June 7, 2022Spring Education Group, a multi-brand network providing superior private school education from infant care through high school, today celebrates the philanthropic achievements of its students over the past school year. Hundreds of schools across the country took part in events to give back to their local communities and support national causes. Through these initiatives, students learned the importance of supporting those in need.
During the 2021-2022 school year, students raised $358,000 and donated more than 7,500 gifts and toys; 5,500 clothing items, including shoes, winter clothing items and pajamas; 23,900 food items; 7,500 books and schools supplies items; and 7,500 essential care items, including toiletries, diapers, personal hygiene items and more.
Over the past year, our students have supported local and national organizations — learning the value of lending a hand to those in need and demonstrating how far a simple act of kindness can go. We are so proud of their efforts and hope they take the lessons learned and apply them in all aspects of their lives, in grade school and beyond.
Spring Education Group schools work to instill a sense of social responsibility in all students, teaching them about the importance of giving back to their communities and helping others. Annual initiatives include projects to help the environment; donation drives to collect food, clothing, school supplies, pet items, diapers and other essential items; fundraisers to help fight childhood hunger and life-threatening illnesses; handmade card projects for first responders and healthcare workers; partnerships with senior living communities and much more.
